Saturday Sketch Challenge

We have quite a few birthdays coming up in the next few months, so I am trying to get ahead and get the cards done. I saw this Stamping 411 sketch and was inspired to make a card using my new Easter Blossoms set from the Summer Mini. I really love the images in this set!

I have used Melon Mambo and Regal Rose cardstock and DSP (colour stack) and have inked the images in Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip , Melon Mambo and Regal Rose. The Grosgrain Ribbon is Pretty in Pink. As this is a birthday card and not an Easter one I have covered the eggs in the basket with some more flowers.

I have raised the girl and some of the flowers on the branch using dimensionals. As you may have noticed I can't go past a bow, so I have added one to the sketch instead of a brad.

Materials:
(All SU unless otherwise stated)
Stamp sets: Easter Blossoms
Cardstock/ DSP: Brights Collection Patterns DSP Stack, Very Vanilla, Regal Rose, Melon Mambo
Inks: Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake, Melon Mambo, Regal Rose
Accessories: Grosgrain Ribbon (Pretty in Pink),  Dimensionals

Please contact me if you require any info and feel free to leave me a comment, I love reading them!

Thanks for stopping by!

  14. I recently bought the Easter Blossoms set and love the way you've put yours together. Clever to have real flowers and pop them up. Edna B.
