I had to make a birthday card for a sweet little girl today and while looking for inspiration came across this sketch from the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge.
I though since I am on a roll I would kill two birds with one stone, make a card and enter another challenge.
Excuse the photo quality, I took this at night and I usually photograph during the day.
I have once again used the Sweet and Sour Specialty DSP, using the colours Rose Red and Pumpkin Pie. I have used another fave, the Owl Punch to make a cute little girly owl. She is sitting on the heart strings from the Love Defined set. I sponged some clouds in the background, my first go at it, think I need a little practice, but it doesn't look too bad.
The sentiment is from Occasional Quotes and was punched out with the Modern Label Punch.
A late addition: This card has also been entered into 'The Kraft Journal's' Spring Fling Challenge. The brief is to use Kraft cardstock and to use the inspiration of the Spring Fling theme.
